Zen Tile Match ("the game", "we") is a tile-matching puzzle game. This policy explains what data the game handles, why, and the choices you have. Contact: omerdurmaz.dev@gmail.com.
Data we collect
- Game account. When you first open the game we create a guest account in Google Firebase Authentication. It is tied to an identifier generated for your device so your progress survives a reinstall. You can optionally link a Google or Apple account; we then receive the name, email address and profile photo that provider shares.
- Profile and progress. Your display name, chosen avatar, level, gold, boosters, stars, daily-reward streak and weekly league score, stored in Google Cloud Firestore.
- Leaderboards. Your display name, avatar and scores are visible to other players on the weekly and global leaderboards. Other players' games can also read the rest of your game profile (level, gold, boosters, stars, daily-reward streak and when you last claimed it, league progress and the date you started playing), but never your email address, push token, sign-in times or purchase records. Leaderboards may also include computer-controlled players.
- Purchases. In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to validate them; RevenueCat receives your game account ID and the purchase receipt. We never see your payment card details.
- Advertising. The game shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier, IP address and ad interactions to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first and you can change it any time under Settings → Privacy Choices. On iOS, tracking only happens if you allow it in the App Tracking Transparency prompt; you can change that later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete the advertising ID in your device settings.
- Notifications. A push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send game reminders. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
- Diagnostics and analytics. Crash reports with device and OS details (Firebase Crashlytics) and gameplay events such as levels started and completed (Google Analytics for Firebase), used to fix bugs and balance the game. These come with an app-instance identifier, approximate location derived from your IP address and, where you allow it, the advertising identifier. They are not linked to your game account.
How we use data
To run the game and save your progress, show leaderboards, deliver purchases, show ads, send reminders you have allowed, fix crashes and improve the game. We do not sell your personal data.
Service providers
Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Sign-In, Google Fonts), Apple (Sign in with Apple, App Store), RevenueCat. Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We only share data with providers that protect it at least as well as this policy describes.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account exists. If you switch from the guest account to an existing Google or Apple account, the guest account's save is deleted within 30 days. You can delete your account and its data at any time in the game: Settings → Delete account. If you no longer have the game installed, see how to request deletion. Crash and analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months; purchase records are kept by the stores as the law requires.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or KVKK) you may access, correct, export or delete your data and object to processing. Contact us at the address above.
